Be the change you wish to see in the world.

I was first introduced to yoga at a skateboarding camp ironically when I was 17 or so. I had a heal bruise and couldn't skate and was stuck there at camp for a week so I found yoga. At this point in my life, I was strong and flexible. I thought, well this is kind of silly. I can do all of this and I just started. I imagine today talking to my 17 year old self saying to keep doing this. This will mitigate injury later in life. That wasn't the case however.

At some point my wife said that I should be a teacher. It is truly because of her confidence in me that I decided to take on the training program. It has been an amazing adventure getting to see yoga from another angle. I usually have my eyes closed when practicing, deep in my own meditation, even in class- I sometimes forget that there are any other students there! I am a believer in yoga. I think everyone should do it. Now being able to help newcomers is very rewarding to me.
